Else Kooi's discovery has been a great source of inspiration to many generations of engineers working in the semiconductor industry. The Else Kooi Award is intended to engage and stimulate the innovative spirit of researchers in the Netherlands for the benefit of Dutch and European semiconductor industries. The award targets PhD students and researchers active in universities and in public research institutes in the Netherlands.
