Yi Wang (TU/e) receives the Else Kooi Award 2024, June 28    
The 2024 Else Kooi Award has been presented to Dr. Yi Wang during the Award Ceremony at PRORISC & SAFE 2024 in Eindhoven on June 28, 2024. The Award was given by Prof. Bram Nauta, Chair of the Else Kooi Award Foundation. Dr. Wang was granted the award for his research on InP membrane photonics for large-scale integration.

    
   
   

 

The Else Kooi Award is an annual award for young researchers in the field of applied semiconductor research conducted in the Netherlands. After a pause due to COVID, the award will be restarted in 2024, with a prize of 1,000 euros.
